Grodno Regional Bar Association is a territorial association of practicing lawyers in the Republic of Belarus.
Grodno Regional Bar Association is based on the principles of self-government non-profit organization of voluntarily united individuals engaged in lawyer activity on the basis of special permits (licenses) to advocacy, issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, and of obligatory membership in the Bar.
Purposes of activity of Grodno Regional Bar Association are: ensuring the provision of legal assistance on a professional basis to individuals (including individual entrepreneurs and legal entities), as well as the state for the purpose of realization and protection their rights, freedoms and interests, as well as provision of access to justice; participation in the legal education of citizens.
Grodno Regional Bar Association operates under the Charter.
The supreme body of Grodno Regional Bar Association is the general meeting (conference) of its members and the executive body - council of Grodno Regional Bar Association.
On our site you can get information about the history of the Bar of the Grodno region, which has long-standing traditions established in the Statute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1529.
The site offers information about 19 general legal consultation centers and 2 specialized legal consultation centers and other organizational forms of realization of lawyer activity, as well as information about each lawyer of Grodno Regional Bar Association. There are 131 Members of Grodno Regional Bar Association.
